Where Purpose Meets Profit
My passion for helping people began long before I entered the Residential Assisted Living industry. Since earning my Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) certification in 2001, I’ve spent years working with individuals and couples to help them overcome challenges and improve their quality of life. That same desire to make a difference is what ultimately led me to the world of assisted living. After my family’s heartbreaking experience with a large, impersonal senior care facility where my grandmother spent her final days, I knew there had to be a more compassionate, community-centered approach to senior living.
In 2015, I decided to be part of the solution — and since then, I’ve done it all. I’ve converted a small home into a thriving residential assisted living facility, rented that property to an operator, managed my own RAL business, and even built two state-of-the-art 9,600-square-foot homes that each serve up to 18 residents with dignity and care. Winning McHenry County’s Best Assisted Living and Memory Care the last 2 years in a row! Now, as I begin construction on my third home with more on the way, my mission is to help others do the same.
